During the retreat several of our meditation instructors and coaches will be on hand to assist you with any questions you might have about your experience and to assist you in making your inner peace journey as fruitful as possible.
Ashley Black has been meditating regularly for over three years. She moved from Huntsville to Mobile in 2019. Ashley has been a nurse for 16 years and has a bachelor's degree in metaphysical science from the University of Sedona. Ashley has undergone a week long meditation intensive training at the Middle Way Meditation Center in Georgia. Ashley is passionate about peace and positive self transformation.

Warunyaporn Sumrittikul, or Nat, is originally from Thailand. She is a graduate student in family and marriage therapy at the University of Mobile and a volunteer for the Meditation Center of Alabama. Nat loves meditation as it helps to reduce her anxiety and stress, and allows her to see things as they truly are with less judgment. She has attended a 3 week meditation retreat in Thailand where she discovered her true inner peace and inner strength. Nat is a certified meditation and mindfulness trainer from World Peace Initiative. She wishes to help people find their true inner peace and reduce suffering in life.

Nena Nimit, M.D., has been meditating for over 15 years. She is a certified Mindfulness & Meditation Trainer from World Peace Initiative. She has undergone a 3 month intensive residential training from the Middle Way Meditation Institute. She is a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist who finished medical school, residency and fellowship at the University of South Alabama. She wishes to spread the knowledge of meditation and inner peace throughout the community.

Lar Nimit, is the director and founder of the Meditation Center of Alabama. Lar has over 25 years of meditation experience in various methods and has practiced the Middle Way Meditation method for over 20 years. Lar is a certified public accountant and owns a local Thai restaurant, Bangkok Thai Cuisine. She has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Kasetsart University in Bangkok, Thailand and a Master's degree in Economics from Western Michigan University. Lar has studied in depth Universe Energy Healing and Pranic Healing. She enjoys practicing Qigong and has attended multiple Qigong classes at the Omega Institute in New York. She routinely leads Mindful Movement Classes at the Meditation Center of Alabama. Lar wishes to spread true inner peace and happiness through meditation.
